Watercress - Monday 4:15 – 5:00
Woodland - Tuesday 4:30 – 5:15
Nutkins - Friday 4:45 – 5:45

Squirrel Scouts are the youngest and newest section and meet in Drey and enjoy games, crafts, stories and lots of fun under the guidance of an adult Leadership team. Squirrels are the youngest section of the scout movement exploring scouts for four and five year olds

We are excited at 1st Apsley Scout Group to be able to offer the new Squirrel Scouts Section to youngsters 4-5 years old.

Parents are encouraged and welcome to stay to help with each session. We can only run a Squirrels section with parent help. A Leader will contact you to talk about Squirrels and parent help before your child starts if you are able to help. All Adult volunteers complete an Adult information form and DBS check.

Squirrels have a red uniform jumper and will be invested into the Scout family with a Squirrel Promise. They will form a Drey.

Squirrels will follow a similar program to Beavers learning new things, making friends, and having the following badges to earn.

• Activity and Staged Activity Badges
• Four Challenge Awards
• A Top Award if they achieve all 4 Challenge Awards
• A Membership Award when they are invested
• A Joining In Award
• A Moving On Award if they go on to Beavers when they are aged 6
